Katie is the Project Coordinator for PEDRI.
She also works for Data and Analytics Research Environments (DARE) UK as a Project Coordinator, where she supports their public involvement and engagement function.
Katie is a specialist in public involvement and engagement with previous roles at the National Institute for Health and Care Research, University of Southampton and International Patient and Public Involvement Network. In these roles, she provided advice and guidance on how to involve and engage with patients and public in medical research, including the co-production of research. Her experience includes the development of training resources, delivery of university short courses, and hosting local community engagement events.
Katie is passionate about building and sustaining meaningful relationships with the public in research and ensuring inclusive approaches in public engagement.
